McAfee WebAdvisor is a simple yet reliable solution to increase your security while you are browsing the Internet. This handy little tool warns you before you get to unknowingly access malicious websites that can harm your privacy, finances, online identity, or even personal files. McAfee WebAdvisor actually doesn't only protect against perilous websites, but also against any other kind of online threats, as it additionally performs a security checkup to see if your antivirus and your firewall are in use before you start the actual web surfing. Furthermore, it scans your downloads to ensure that they don't contain any potentially dangerous components.

McAfee WebAdvisor doesn't only take care of your security when you are browsing the web or downloading files, but also when you are setting up new passwords. It will warn you if the new password that you choose for whatever service is too weak or easy to guess.

This handy program comes as a browser extension that supports all the most popular three browsers in the world: Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Google Chrome. Unfortunately this also means that if you prefer using Safari, Opera, or other browser, using McAfee WebAdvisor won't be possible.

Another cool thing about this program is the fact that it memorizes your security choices and applies them automatically in future situations. In other words, it learns from your preferences, acting as a truly intelligent security advisor.

To sum it all up, McAfee WebAdvisor is a nice little app that makes browsing the web a safer experience.
